The new Goole club picked yet another good clear day to have the latest walk up Pen-y-Ghent in the Yorkshire Dales. The club was joined by members of the Goole Butterfly dance studio, which now have shown interest in joining the club.
The group set off from Horton in the Dales just before lunch time, climbing up the south side reaching the top Trig point at around 2 pm. The group took a route down the north side getting back into Horton at 3.30pm. The trip was finished with a stop off at Malham Cove on the way home.
The Club are doing a 100 mile Centurion Dales walk on the 13th – 17th April. The club are aiming to complete the route in 4 to 5 days covering most of the highest peaks in the Dales.
